Silverdyn (054/365)

I got a sample of Silverdyn from a friend today.  I was at a networking event and they were talking about it and I got interested in learning about it.  I'm always down to learn about "new" (to me) products for camping and such.

Silverdyn's an inexpensive silver solution of sorts that disinfects your drinking water.  HOWEVER, it only works against bacteria, as far as I know.  This does not aid in the sterilization of water against viruses such as cryptosporidia and giardia (which was a little disappointing).  Apparently, you can put this stuff into a sink of water to disinfect the surface of your fruit and veggies too.

It's interesting.  :)
