The name of my blog may seem counter-intuitive, but it's just a little catch phrase of mine. I only wish to learn more about the world around me and what it has to offer - from the simplest things that make me laugh and smile to the bigger things that stir up tears and emotions. Life is "bueno," you've just gotta find a reason to smile and not forget to create it for others you encounter.

Gloves (045/365)
I finally got around to adding gloves to my FAK and Tin o' Stuff. It would have definitely come in handy when I had my accident last month - I kind of recall Sis cleaning up my gash and getting my blood all over her. These ones are stored in those EZ-Dose zip baggies by the pair before getting stashed in my FAKs. :D These baggies aren't the best at keeping air out, so I'll have to look for a more compact method... or better zippies.
I didn't get a chance to get the Nitrile ones as I had planned, but these ones will do for now. These are vinyl ones (latex free) that I had gotten at Wally World. They are a little on the pricey side at 8 gloves for $0.98 per box, but that's okay. The Nitrile ones that I'd wanted have been out of stock in my size for quite some time (and Harbor Freight usually only has the medium or larger ones on sale).

Another First Aid Kit (041/365)
I had picked up a FAK from Target a few months ago. (Seen here) I like the box, as its got real hinges and is fairly robust. I went to Wally World the other day to kill some time and found this one. It's a nice bright red color, which I really like. The plastic used for this doesn't seem as robust (I think 'cause it's the clear type) as the Target one... but it's red! It looks like it's the same company who put out the Target one, as it's got the exact same components. However, the Target one is under the Up & Up brand (including the bandages). Everything else included in the kit is exactly the same, though.
I might pick this one up in the future. :) My current one resides in my school pack and I still need another for my car.
